Chandigarh: School of Eminence was started in Mohali. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann inaugurated it at the Indian School of Business. While addressing during this, he said that today is a very historic day and today we are starting the work, which was earlier done only on paper or in dreams.
He also said that the dream of making Punjab a Rangla is not letting him sleep. He has a dream to make Punjab drug free. Dreams don’t come true only on paper. The picture of schools will change in School of Eminence. There is a need to hone the skills of the children. In the first phase, 117 schools will be upgraded.
During this, C.M. Maan said that when a child reaches abroad or anywhere for a job or further studies, he can tell Maan that he has studied in government schools. Children are taught in government schools not out of compulsion. CM Maan said that there is no such field where girls cannot go. Don’t kill girls in the womb, give her a chance to live life, at least let her do something. Today it is being seen that girls are also topping everywhere. Educate boys but at the same time give girls a chance to move forward.
