Haryana’s Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala is going to gift two more big projects for the new year back-to-back to Hisar district. About Rs 80 crore will be spent on these two projects. Just a few days ago, where the bypass of Talwandi Rana to Mirzapur road was approved, a five-star luxurious rest house of the PWD (B&R) department and a six-storey office of the department were also approved for Hisar city. This departmental office will be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities on the lines of Nirman Sadan in Chandigarh.

Earlier, Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala had also approved the process of constructing an elevated road for Hisar city to be built at a cost of about 723 crores last year, which would prove to be important in relieving the people of the city from jams. About 8.5 kilometer long elevated road will be constructed by the Public Works Department on the Delhi-Hisar-Sirsa road in the heart of the city. This road will be built from Sirsa Chungi to the flyover near Jindal Factory. People will get relief from vehicular jam in Sector-14, Bus Stand, Nagori Gate, Police Line Area, Urban Estate, Dabra Chowk, Model Town, Sector 9-11 areas coming on the way. The DPR of this elevated road has been prepared and Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala has given instructions to start this work at the earliest.

Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala had earlier this year approved the four-lane bypass from village Talwandi Rana to Mirzapur Road in Hisar and Rs 153 crore has already been released. The farmers whose land has been acquired for this bypass, the way has been opened for them to get the amount of this land.

The efforts being made by Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala towards developing and beautifying Hisar city got wings when he inaugurated a five-star luxurious rest house and six-storey office of the department in Hisar city on the arrival of New Year 2023. Also got administrative approval immediately. Of these, Rs 60 crore will be spent on Rest House and more than Rs 19 crore on Nirman Sadan. Dushyant Chautala has given instructions to construct them at the earliest.

This five-storey new rest house is proposed to be built on 2.09 acres out of 7.47 acres of the existing rest house. A total of about four dozen rooms will be built in this rest house. In this, apart from CM suite, VIP suite, there will be officers-rooms, there will also be a provision for making shops. People staying in this rest house will feel like a shopping-mall, as there will be shops with modern things to buy goods. Not only this, the guests staying at the rest house will also be able to practice gym and yoga to keep their health fit. A multipurpose-hall with a capacity of about 300 persons will also be built which will facilitate in organizing events. This building will also have a conference room with a capacity of 100 persons with modern facilities where meetings can also be held. Separate toilets will be made for women, men and differently-abled. Lifts will also be installed for VIPs and general public.

Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala has got administrative approval for construction of a beautiful departmental office of PWD (B&R) department in Hisar city. This six-storey building will be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities on the lines of Nirman Sadan in Chandigarh. This building will be constructed at the place of the old office of PWD (B&R) Department in which 70 rooms will be made. The cost of the building is estimated to be around Rs 19 crore. In this, separate blocks of civil, mechanical, electrical, horticulture, engineering wings of the department will be made. Not only this, there will be separate offices for sitting of JE to SDO, XEN and SE and top officials.
