The Mumbai zone of the Central Railway has announced a mega block next week, under which rail traffic will be disrupted for about 27 hours. In the matter, CPRO of Central Railway Shivaji Sutar said that there will be a megablock till November 19 and 20, which will start at 11 pm. For the convenience of the passengers, some suburban trains (suburban trains) will run between Byculla and Thane.

Actually there is an old Karnack Bridge between CSMT and Masjid Bunder on the suburban line, which was built during the British period. Railways has now made preparations to demolish it. Under which the mega block of 27 hours was announced from the night of 19 November. According to the railways, the block on the up and down slow as well as fast lines of the Central Zone will start from 11 pm on 19 November till 4 pm on 20 November. The block on Up and Down Harbor line will start from 11 PM on 19th November till 8 PM the next day. At the same time, the block on the yard line will be from 11 pm on 19 November till 2 am (2 AM) the next day.

According to Railways, Up and Down suburban services on the main line will short terminate/start at Byculla, Parel, Dadar and Kurla stations. Suburban trains will run on low frequency from Byculla, Parel, Dadar, Kurla to Thane and beyond. On the Harbor line, Up and Down suburban services will short terminate/start at Wadala Road station. Due to this mega traffic block, many long distance trains have been canceled or short terminated at Pune, Dadar and Panvel Junctions.
