Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot will present his fifth and last budget of this government in the Rajasthan Assembly on 10 February. The budget will be presented at 11 am. A meeting of the Business Advisory Committee of the Legislative Assembly was held in the House on Thursday. The proceedings till February 16 were fixed in the meeting. After the meeting, Deputy Chief Whip Mahendra Chaudhary presented the report of the committee. Under this, the budget will be kept on 10. There will be no meeting of the House on 11 and 12 February. The budget will be debated from 13 to 15 February. CM Gehlot will reply to the budget debate on 16 February.

In this, about one crore 33 lakh women heads of Chiranjeevi families are to be given free smart phones with internet access for three years. Kalla said that a provision of 1200 crores and then 3400 crores was first made in the budget for the free smartphone scheme. Even now a budget provision of 2600 crores has been made. He said that there is a shortage of semi-conductor chips in the international market and the central government has also made some changes regarding taxes in the budget. Hence the process has been delayed.
