Rajya Sabha candidate Radha Mohan Das told Yogi compassionate, said- Opportunity given to opposition to win 5 seats

Lucknow, May 30: Under the Rajya Sabha elections in Uttar Pradesh, voting is to be held on June 10. BJP has also released the list of Rajya Sabha candidates. Former BJP MLA Radha Mohan Das Aggarwal, who left Sadar seat for Yogi Adityanath Yogi during the assembly elections, clearly said that the news that had come out about differences between Yogi and me was a product of the media. Yogi is a very compassionate leader. We gave up our seat only after talking to National President JP Nadda. I had said even then that the organization would use me the way it wanted to. Now the party has given me a Rajya Sabha ticket, so I will reach there and contribute to the country’s development.

Radha Mohan Das, a four-time MLA from Gorakhpur Sadar seat, said these things during an exclusive conversation with OneIndia Hindi. Radha Mohan Das said that if the party has decided to send it to Rajya Sabha, then it must have done some thinking. This is not a demotion. This is only promotion. If we talk about my vision, then I will contribute in building the country by reaching Rajya Sabha.

When former BJP MLA Radha Mohan Das was asked that there were reports of differences between him and Yogi during the assembly elections, even SP chief Akhilesh Yadav offered you to join SP and fight from the same seat, To this, Radha Mohan said, “There was no difference between me and CM Yogi. It was all a product of the media. You would know when the differences were there. I thank Akhilesh for the offer he had made. Akhilesh called me a good person. His gesture was that you are a good person that is why I had decided not to leave my party.

Question: The party is taking you from the assembly to the Rajya Sabha, how do you see it?

answer: Radha Mohan said that if the party has reposed faith in me, it will not happen like this. If the party feels that I can do my work by going to the center more than here, then I am ready for this challenge. In the coming times, you will see that in the Rajya Sabha, I will be seen raising the issues of the people and will contribute to the country’s development. We have got BA degree by working for the party in UP, now we will get MA degree by going there. Then I will also do PhD and work with Modi ji to strengthen the country further.

Question: Your party has given the slogan of 75 plus for the Lok Sabha elections in the BJP working committee, how will this mission be accomplished?

answer: Yogi ji is a very kind leader. He does not want to completely eliminate the opposition in UP. That is why the opposition has been given a chance to win five seats. He could have claimed to win all the seats and could win, but he has given opportunity to the opposition that all the people together should divide five seats among themselves.

Question: You were MLA for 20 years, now you are going to Rajya Sabha. When you were there, there was a fear among the officers. How will he survive?

answer: Whether I am MLA or MP. The officials have to listen to the views of the people’s representatives. If a public representative is not involved in any kind of corruption, if he does not make his personal relationship with any officer, then which officer has the fun that he will not listen to the people’s representatives. The officials have to listen to the voices of the people’s representatives.

Question: During the assembly elections in UP, BJP was cleared in many districts of Purvanchal, what is the reason for this?

Answer: You will get the answer of this question in the Lok Sabha by-election to be held in Azamgarh. If there is strength in the opposition, then show it by winning there.
