New Delhi, September 23. Political parties spend crores of rupees like water in the elections held every 6 months in the country. Be it the ruling BJP or the opposition parties. There are often allegations and counter-allegations between political parties regarding election expenditure and money is also spent in elections in the midst of those allegations and counter-allegations. Meanwhile, TMC MP Mahua Moitra has launched a fresh attack on BJP regarding election expenses.
On Friday, Mahua Moitra targeted the ruling BJP through a tweet. Referring to the expenditure of the assembly elections held in UP, he said that Ram Rajya is clearly a very expensive calculation. Mahua has said in his tweet that BJP had spent Rs 340 crore in the elections held in 5 states within 2022. Out of this, Rs 221 crore was spent within Uttar Pradesh alone. He said that this is the declared expenditure, while the correct calculation would be much more than this. In such a situation, Ram Rajya is clearly a very expensive calculation.
