Ready to send Taliban soldiers to India for training, said – will not let Pakistan use its land

Mullah Yakub said that Taliban wants to strengthen ties with India. He has also expressed his desire to send Afghan military forces back to India for training. During a conversation with News18, when Mullah Yakub was asked that Afghan soldiers have been trained in India for many years. Now there has been a change of power in Afghanistan. If given a chance, would you like to send the soldiers back to India?

Strengthen India-Afghan ties
Responding to this, Yakub said, ‘Yes, we have no problem with this. Strengthen Afghan-India relations and prepare the ground for it. There is no problem in this. When Yakub was asked that many Afghan soldiers of the previous government, who were trained in India, are still in India. If they return, are you ready to rejoin them?

Soldiers requested to return
To this Yakub said that the Taliban government has done some work on this and requested all Afghans present abroad to return. Many of them have returned and are doing their duty. We are aware of such jawans who are left in India and we call on them to return. It is an Afghan tradition not to leave anyone behind and we are committed to it.

India expressed gratitude
Mulla Yakub said that we appreciate the help sent by India and express our gratitude. We expect India to continue its assistance to the people of Afghanistan. Mullah Yakub further said that only when we have cordial political and diplomatic relations, we will be ready for defense relations. Neither will there be any problem in it nor do we see any problem with it.

The country will not come between India and Pakistan
On the question of the current defense ties with Pakistan, Yakub said that he wants cordial relations with all the neighboring countries including India. On the issue of India and Pakistan, Yakub said that he does not want to interfere in the bilateral matters of these two countries. Along with this, Yakub said that we will not allow Pakistan to use Afghanistan’s land against India, nor will India allow Afghanistan to use Afghanistan’s land against Pakistan. We are a free country and our foreign policy is guided by our national interests.
