Mumbai, June 22 : Shiv Sena leader and government minister Eknath Shinde has created an earthquake in Maharashtra by revolting. Where Uddhav Thackeray has clearly said that my resignation is ready in writing and whoever wants to become a Shiv Sainik can become the Chief Minister. However, just ahead of the offer, rebel Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde reiterated on Wednesday that he has no plans to break ties with the party and will always remain “Balasaheb Thackeray’s Shiv Sainiks”.

In an interview to News18, Eknath Shinde said that he and the other rebel MLAs were “following Bal Thackeray’s Hindutva line and will pursue their agenda. Shinde, who claims the support of more than 40 MLAs, has decided his future.” Refused to give details about the plans of the party and said that we will talk at an appropriate time. Shinde refused to comment on the question of forming his new party.

The senior leader also rubbished the allegations of being sidelined and ignored but admitted that Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has not contacted him yet.

After this statement, Uddhav Thackeray said, “If the MLA says, then I am ready to leave the CM post. It is not about the numbers, but how many are against me. If even a single person or MLA is against me. If yes then I will leave. It is very shameful for me if even one MLA is against me. I am surprised because if Congress and NCP said that I should not become CM then it is different, but today Kamal Nath also said that I should not become CM. But when my own people (MLAs) don’t want me, what can I say?
