Sagar: Big action of EOW, EPF Regional Commissioner arrested taking bribe of Rs 5 lakh

In Madhya Pradesh’s Sagar, the Economic Crime Investigation Organization Jabalpur-Sagar has arrested the Regional Commissioner of Employees’ Provident Fund Organization red-handed taking a bribe of Rs 5 lakh. He had demanded a bribe of Rs 10 lakh by pressurizing Sagar’s BR & Company to take action. Today, he was taking the first installment of Rs 5 lakh, during which EOW raided and caught him red handed.
EOW SP Devendra Singh Rajput said that the applicant Aniruddha Pimpalapure BR & Co. Civil Lines Sagar had demanded a bribe of Rs. The EOW officials had planned the action after recording the conversation of the transaction through Anirudh. Sent to the official residence of EPF Regional Commissioner Satish Singh on Sunday evening. After getting the green signal after the transaction of Rupees, the EOW team raided and caught the Regional Commissioner red handed.
In lieu of getting the records corrected, the bribe was demanded.
According to a written complaint to EOW, in lieu of rectifying the records of Aniruddha Pimpalapure’s firm by saying that it was wrong, EPF Regional Commissioner Satish Kumar had directly demanded Rs 10. Otherwise he was threatening action under EPF Act. After the complaint, the EOW organization’s inspector Uma Naval Arya and Swaranjit Singh Dhami started the process of trapping.
The company was also honored on Labor Day
The most interesting thing in the matter is that the same company from which the EPF commissioner was demanding the bribe, he had also honored the same company on the last labor day. In fact, the Central Government has a plan that under the Employees Provident Fund, whichever organization is doing better work, they are honored by the EPF Regional Office. Today the regional commissioners were arrested while taking bribe from the same firm.
