Durg, 19 September. The High Court has reprimanded the Municipal Services Department of Bhilai Steel Plant Management in Chhattisgarh. The BSP had taken action to seal the land worth crores on the side of the National Highway in Khursipar of Bhilai as illegal possession. But now on the instructions of the High Court, the BSP Municipal Service Department officials had to free the sealed property. BSP coming on the back foot like this is causing a lot of grit.

The matter of crores of land of National Highway

In fact, action was taken against five companies including MLT Crane in front of Bhilai ITI along the National Highway of Bhilai on the basis of the decree passed by the Municipal Services Department of BSP in the Estate Court. The BSP was said to have captured two and a half acres of land worth about 50 crores. To remove this occupation, BSP first took action on one MLT Cranes Company and locked the office on 17th August, after which on 9th September, action was taken to seal and seal the remaining 5 companies.

We are constantly having written talks with the BSP management regarding this.

There is a tax of 22 crores on companies, arrears
According to the Municipal Services Department of Bhilai Steel Plant, these companies have tax arrears of more than Rs 22 crore. At the same time, permanent residence has been constructed on the commercial land of BSP. The BSP had removed the possession of these companies on land worth more than Rs 50 crore. This is the biggest action in the history of SAIL. The BSP has suffered a major setback on this action.

The affected have got a stay in this matter from the High Court. This action of BSP has been done in a malicious manner. We have got relief from High Court Bilaspur. Now we hope that we will get justice in this matter. BSP management is requested to continue our lease. We are ready to deposit whatever is due since 2004.
High Court gave this order
State counsel submitted that since alternative remedy is available against the impugned order of eviction of the petitioner, the petition is not maintainable. He IA But also sought time to submit the written presentation. While giving a stay, the High Court said that both the parties will remain on the disputed land till the next date of hearing. As on date, the petitioner is in possession of the said land, therefore, the respondent has asked the authorities not to prevent the petitioner from entering the disputed land without any dispute. BSP team returned empty handed
After the stay of the High Court, the BSP team went to take action against the five companies, where the affected showed the stay order of the court, seeing that the team has returned to the ground. The High Court in its order has asked to remove the seal and give it to the lease holders. At the same time, the date of the next hearing has also been fixed. The matter will be heard after 8 weeks.
