Chandigarh, June 04: The preparations for the by-elections to the Sangrur Lok Sabha seat of Punjab have intensified. In such a situation, all the parties are busy announcing their candidates to win this seat. Recently, where the Aam Aadmi Party has announced its candidate from this seat. So the name of Kamaldeep Kaur was announced as the joint candidate of the second SAD-BSP and all the Panthik organizations. Kamaldeep Kaur is the sister of Balwant Singh Rajoana, who is serving a life sentence for the assassination of former Punjab Chief Minister Beant Singh.
In the information shared by Shiromani Akali Dal, it was told that Kamaldeep Kaur Rajoana, sister of Bhai Balwant Singh Rajoana, will contest the Sangrur Lok Sabha by-election as a joint candidate of SAD-BSP and all Panthik organizations. She will contest on the symbol of SAD and file her nomination on June 6. Earlier, Kamaldeep Kaur had also met her brother lodged in Patiala Jail. At the same time, the leaders of Akali Dal also went to meet Kamaldeep Kaur.
Let us inform that Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was an MP from Sangrur Lok Sabha seat, but after winning the Punjab Assembly and taking over the CM’s chair, he left this seat, on which by-election is going to be held. AAP has declared Gurmail Singh’s name from here. Gurmail Singh is in-charge of AAP’s Sangrur district.
