The incident took place at a primary school in Kwekwe, a town about 200 kilometers from Harare, the capital of the African country Zimbabwe, which is located near two gold mines. The school management had also complained about illegal mining in the past, but no hearing was held and the result of which is now going viral through photographs on social media.
It is being told that 17 children of this school in Zimbabwe have been injured. He continues to be treated in hospital after a large sinkhole broke beneath the classroom due to mining.
