School holiday on November 5 in Haryana: Government took decision due to CET exam



Chandigarh. Haryana has declared a holiday for government and private schools on Saturday. This decision has been taken due to CET exam. Announcing the holiday, the Directorate of School Education has issued a letter to all the District Education Officers and District Elementary Education Officers of the state. At the same time, preparations have also been made by the administration for the traffic regarding the CET exam.

Instructions have been given to DEO and DEEO to ensure holiday on Saturday in all concerned schools. After the issuance of the order, private and government schools in all 22 districts of the state will remain closed on November 5. However, earlier instructions were issued to leave only in the schools having examination centers.

In the order issued on November 3, it was announced to leave only those schools in which the CET exam is held. But later on November 4, the Directorate of School Education again issued the letter. In which instructions have been given to keep all the schools in the state closed. After this, the schools will be closed for two days on Saturday and Sunday. The CET exam is held on November 5 and 6 across the state. For which examination centers have been set up in 17 districts of the state. About 11 and a half lakh candidates will appear in these examination centers in two days. Preparations have also been made at the administrative level for the CET exam. The decision of leave has also been taken with the same objective that the CET exam is not disrupted.
