Scientists found another ‘Maha-Earth’, revolving around a red star like blood

orbiting the star
A team of astronomers using Japan’s Subaru Telescope has discovered an Earth-like exoplanet, DailyStar reports. The team was led by Hiroki Harakawa. This super earth is orbiting a star, whose name is Ross 508. At the same time, the distance of this newly discovered planet is 36.5 light years from us.

doing circumambulation in 10.75 days
According to astronomers, the planet orbits in the “Goldilocks Zone” of its parent star, Ross 508. Ross 508 is a small and comparatively dim red dwarf star. Further investigation revealed that Ross 508 b has a minimum mass equal to four Earth masses. Because of this, it completes the circumambulation in 10.75 days.

Last year also got second super earth
Last year, scientists had found a super Earth, named GJ740. It is much hotter than our planet and weighs three times as much as Earth. Its distance is also 36 light years from us. According to scientists, our Earth revolves around the Sun in 365 days, but it revolves around its parent star only in 2.4 days.

NASA will also release the look of two planets
On the other hand, soon NASA will release the detailed look of the two planets. They believe that they look like Earth, but detailed research is needed to find more on it. One of these is named 55 Cancri e, while the other is named LHS 3844 b. In this, the super-hot planet Cancri e orbits the Sun closer to its parent star than Mercury, while LHS 3844 b is much cooler than that. An attempt was made to take photos of the surface of both with the help of telescope, but the scientists were unsuccessful in this. In this case, now another tool will be used.
