Mumbai, June 23: The rebel Shiv Sena MLAs were taken from Surat to Guwahati in the early hours of Wednesday. At the same time, the Aam Aadmi Party alleges that when they were in Surat, the city police harassed the MLAs in the hotel. MLA Nitin Deshmukh has alleged that he was kidnapped and beaten up by the Surat Police. AAP’s state unit president Gopal Italia has accused the Surat police.

Some MLAs of Shiv Sena, who were brought from Maharashtra on Monday night, have been threatened and tortured by the Surat Police on the instructions of BJP leaders. He further alleged that some MLAs wanted to return to Maharashtra, but they were not allowed and were locked up in their hotel rooms.

Now Shiv Sena MLA Nitin Deshmukh has made a serious allegation that Surat Police has forcefully admitted him to the government hospital. Even when he was in the hospital, about 20 to 25 people have imprisoned him without his will. He further alleged that he was abducted, he did not have any health problems, but was treated for chest pain.

Two more Shiv Sena MLAs Prakash Kadam and Nirmala Gavit have reached Surat on Wednesday morning. From where he was sent to Guwahati. However, the BJP has preferred to remain silent on the issue.

The party spokesperson was officially banned for not commenting and reacting, but former deputy chief minister Nitin Patel said, “Shiv Sena MLAs are impressed by the BJP’s development work. So they want to form an alliance with the BJP and form the government in Maharashtra.” The MLAs are unhappy with their own government and that’s why they came to Gujarat, they have been taken to Assam.”
