Shivraj cabinet: Tax waiver of 130 crores for buses, approval of 330 MW solar power project in Datia

Bhopal, June 07: The Shivraj government of MP has decided that a three-member council of ministers will form a committee on road safety. Along with waiving off Rs 130 crore tax for buses during the Corona period, Shivraj cabinet has also approved the honorarium to the priests. It was also decided in the cabinet meeting that the amount of Rs 4,000 to be received after four investigations in labor maternity assistance would now be given only after the first investigation. Apart from this, a decision was also taken for the post of Additional Advocate General in the state.

Many important decisions were taken in the cabinet meeting of Shivraj government in Madhya Pradesh. Before the meeting, tributes were paid to the dead of Panna district who lost their lives in the horrific accident in Uttarakhand. Expressing concern over the increasing road accidents in the state, CM Shivraj said that there is a need to analyze the road accidents in Khandwa, Betul, Rewa and Panna. He directed to constitute a three-member committee on road safety. Public Works Minister Gopal Bhargava, Transport Minister Govind Singh Rajput and Cooperation and Public Service Management Minister Arvind Singh Bhadauria will be members in this committee. This committee will review the activities conducted for road safety and the necessary precautions to be adopted and submit the report. The cabinet has also approved a tax waiver of Rs 130 crore for buses during the Corona period along with amendment in the mitigation fee of the Transport Department.

Now maternity assistance on first check, honorarium to priests
Shivraj cabinet has also taken a big decision on health service. Till now, under the Chief Minister’s Shramik Seva Prasuti Yojana, only after four investigations, the assistance amount of Rs. But now only after the first investigation, this amount will be given to the eligible maternity. This amendment in the scheme will also help in getting rid of the financial problems faced by the pregnant women. During the meeting, the Council of Ministers welcomed the decision to give honorarium to the priests. It has been approved to give an honorarium of five thousand rupees to the landless priests of the state and two and a half thousand rupees to the priests who have land up to 5 acres.

330 MW Solar Power Project in Datia, Textile Cluster in Burhanpur
Solar power project will start very soon in Datia, the home district of State Home Minister Narottam Mishra. Shivraj cabinet has given permission to install it. This project will be of 330 MW, which will prove to be a major milestone in the direction of solar energy. The cabinet also approved textile cluster in Burhanpur district, along with it all efforts will be made by MSMEs to take forward the toy unit.
