resolution to bring laurels to the country
Shashank Tripathi, son of Shailendra Prakash Tripathi, who lives in Sigra area of Varanasi district, told that he has resolved to bring laurels to the country in the shooting championship. Even before winning gold in the shooting championship held in Kerala, Shashank has won medals many times and has won a total of 32 medals in state and national championships. Shashank’s father is posted as Deputy SP in Mirzapur. Shashank says that he was inspired to shoot after seeing the official pistol of his father Shailendra Prakash Tripathi. He had planned to shoot since childhood.
Started shooting career from 2015
Shashank Tripathi started shooting work from the year 2015 and till now has received more than 32 medals in the shooting championship organized at National and State level. Shashank says that he has expertise in shooting 50 meters with rifle and 300 meters with big bore rifle. Shashank told that whatever achievement he has achieved in Kerala is due to the blessings of his parents, teachers and Shri Kashi Vishwanath. He has been constantly encouraged by Shashank’s father, that is why, due to his father’s encouragement, Shashank has brought laurels not only to Varanasi but also to Uttar Pradesh by winning the gold medal in the National Shooting Championship held in Kerala.
Suryadeep and Sameer also won medals
Apart from Shashank Tripathi of Varanasi, Suryadeep of Chowka village under Harhua block of Varanasi and Sameer Dagar of Agra district have also won silver medals in this National Shooting Championship held in Kerala. Suryadeep’s father, a resident of Chowka village, does farming. In the month of September, Sandeep also won the gold medal in the State Shooting Championship at Delhi’s Karni Singh Stadium. Apart from Suryadeep in Suryadeep’s family, younger brother Harshdeep is also a shooting player. There is an atmosphere of joy in Varanasi due to two players winning medals in the shooting championship. People are congratulating the families of both the players.
