Know what is ‘save soil movement’
Save soil movement in India was started in the year 1977 from Hoshangabad in Madhya Pradesh.
Due to the Tawa Dam in Hoshangabad, Madhya Pradesh, the soil used for farming is turning into a swamp.
That’s why the farmers of Hoshangabad started the Soil Save Movement.
On 05 June 2022, on the occasion of Environment Day, a program named ‘Save Soil Movement’ was also organized in Delhi.
This program was addressed by PM Narendra Modi and made people aware to save the soil.
