Heatwave warning at different places of Delhi
IMD has warned of heatwave at different places of Delhi. In view of the heat wave, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has advised Delhiites to stay indoors as much as possible. It is known that the maximum temperature recorded in Delhi a day ago was 44.9 degree Celsius. The maximum temperature in Delhi on Monday was five notches above normal, while the minimum was 29.7 degrees Celsius, two notches above normal. The minimum temperature is likely to be 30 degree Celsius on Tuesday.

According to the alert of IMD, till June 8, there is a possibility of heat wave in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha. At the same time, a heat wave warning has been given in Haryana, Delhi and Uttarakhand till June 9. On Tuesday, there is a possibility of heat wave in East Rajasthan, Telangana, Chhattisgarh, North Jharkhand.
Delhi’s air quality also recorded poor
Separately, on Tuesday morning, the air quality of Delhi was recorded in the poor category. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, the hourly air quality index (AQI) was 219 at 10 am. The 24-hour average AQI on Monday was 195, which was in the medium range with highest loss.
