A video has gone viral on social media, in which a five-year-old girl is lying on a terrace in the scorching sun in Delhi with her hands tied from behind. In fact, for not doing homework, a woman tied the hands and feet of her five-year-old innocent girl and put her on the scorching terrace in the scorching afternoon. The girl kept on screaming. Someone made a video of this incident and made it viral. After which the police have registered a case against the woman.

Police said that preliminary investigation has revealed that the incident took place on June 2 in Delhi’s Khajuri Khas area. The girl was not doing homework, so her mother tied her hands and feet and left her on the terrace. During the interrogation of the police, the girl’s mother told that the girl had not done her school homework, so tied her hands and feet and put her on the roof in the scorching heat and gave her such punishment of 5 to 7 minutes. Later she brought the girl down from the roof.

When the video of this incident went viral on social media, there was a stir. When the police started investigation, it came to know that the viral video is of Khajuri Khas area. Special teams were formed to confirm the matter. After much effort, the teams were able to find out about the girl. Delhi Commission for Women chairperson Swati Maliwal has also intervened in this matter. He has issued a notice to Delhi Police and sought information about the matter.

The woman, who made the 25-second video, claimed that the girl’s mother tied her arms and legs and left her on the terrace at around 2 pm in the scorching sun. The police have registered an FIR under the Juvenile Justice Act at Khajuri Khas police station. Police is probing the matter. Officials of the North-East Police say that after investigation, appropriate action will be taken against the accused woman. The girl is said to be healthy.
