Telangana TDP has chalked out a comprehensive action plan across the state as part of its door-to-door campaign to revive the party ahead of the assembly elections to be held later this year.
Addressing a press conference on Monday, TTDP chief Kasani Dnyaneshwar said, “We will form 1,300 units and these teams will go to each household and urge them to support the party.” Also, we are preparing to announce the candidates of the party soon. Each unit will receive a party kit with pamphlets and a membership drive booklet. Reservation of local bodies will be implemented. The observers will visit all the villages and bring the local issues to the notice of the top leadership of the party.
Kasni said, “Even the BRS meeting in Khammam did not get the support that the TTDP meeting got. The party will hold a public meeting in Nizamabad and the dates will be announced soon. Let us tell you that on 6 December 2022, Kasni took over as the President of TDP in Telangana. Notably, Kasani Dnyaneshwar, who hails from a backward class, had served as an MLC and as the chairman of the Ranga Reddy District Zilla Parishad in undivided Andhra Pradesh.
