Hyderabad: Telangana IT Minister KT Rama Rao said that the state government is implementing several programs in line with the aspirations and thoughts of Acharya Konda Laxman Bapuji. He along with MLC L Ramana and State Planning Commission Deputy Chairman B Vinod Kumar unveiled the statue of Konda Lakshmana Bapuji at Tangallapally mandal center and inaugurated the Mandal Parishad building.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that the government is implementing several welfare schemes and programs for handloom workers. Every year on Handloom Day, 50 artists are given prizes in the name of Bapuji at the rate of 25 thousand each. Addressing a gathering in Siricilla, KTR thanked the people for securing victory in the CESS elections. He said that Sircilla Cess was the only power company in the country in the cooperative sector and it should be strengthened.

Rajanna Sircilla stood first in the country in the Swachh Survekshan survey. 19 of the country’s top 20 gram panchayats and the country’s best municipalities were in Telangana. Minister KTR said that medical colleges were established in all the districts including Sircilla under the leadership of CM KCR government.
