The final match of the 15th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) was played between Gujarat Royals and Rajasthan Royals at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad on 29 May, in which Gujarat won. This was the first major achievement of captain Hardik Pandya. More than 1 lakh spectators were present in the stadium to watch the match and support their home team Gujarat team. To celebrate the victory, the Gujarat team took to the streets of Ahmedabad, where hundreds of spectators chanted ‘Mahadev’ slogans.

Hardik has shared a video of him doing a roadshow on his Instagram account, in which hundreds of fans were seen shouting slogans named Mahadev. Along with this, Pandya was also seen raising slogans. Along with the trophy, the team planned a bus tour and thanked their fans and supports. Gujarat has become the IPL champion in its debut season itself and this team has caught everyone’s attention.

Let us inform that Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel was also present to watch the final match along with Board President and Indian Home Minister Amit Shah. On this occasion, Bhupendra Patel honored Gujarat captain Hardik Pandya with a special gift. He gave a memento to Captain Hardik Pandya. At the same time, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel met the winners of IPL 2022, Gujarat Titans and congratulated them.

In the final match, Gujarat won the IPL trophy by defeating Rajasthan Royals by 7 wickets. With this, Hardik Pandya has become the third captain in IPL history to win the IPL title in his debut season as a captain. Shane Warne and Rohit Sharma did this before him. Five years after Gujarat won the title, the IPL has got a new champion.
