CJI DY Chandrachud:
Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud clearly said on Saturday that there is no government pressure on the judiciary. When asked questions in India Today’s program, the Chief Justice said that there is no government pressure on the judiciary. He said that I have worked as a judge for 23 years. We have worked as High Court Judge, as CJI of High Court and as Judge of Supreme Court and now as CJI. So far no one has asked me to decide any case.

CJI Chandrachud clearly said that the executive has no pressure on the judiciary at all. The CJI said that the decision of the Election Commission is an important decision. Said that the decision regarding the appointment of election commissioners is proof that there is no pressure on the judiciary. He said that the work of the executive, legislature and judiciary are completely different. He is not pressuring us.

The CJI said that we are living in an era where social media has made people distrustful of public institutions. Said that in the last 70 years, the executive, legislature and judiciary have worked separately without exerting pressure on each other.
