The wicketkeeper-batsman made his mark with scintillating performances throughout the tournament. He played the role of finisher for the franchise. Karthik scored 330 runs in 16 matches at an average of 55 and a strike rate of 183.33. During this, he also scored 1 half-century. In the 15th season of IPL, Karthik hit 27 fours and 22 sixes. Since this great performance, Karthik has been a part of the Indian team continuously. He will also travel to Australia for the T20 World Cup 2022.
