Hyderabad, June 04: The third accused in the case of alleged gangrape of a minor girl in Jubilee Hills of Hyderabad last week has been arrested on Saturday. Till now Telangana Police has arrested three people including two minors in this gangrape case. At the same time, in this gangrape case, the BJP chief has demanded from the CM to hand over the investigation of this case to the CBI.
Let us inform that so far three accused, including two minors, have been arrested in the Hyderabad gang rape case. In which one of the accused’s name is Saduddin Malik, it was arrested on Friday. The second accused who is a juvenile has been arrested by Hyderabad Police today. Telangana Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Bandi Sanjay on Saturday wrote to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, demanding the handing over of the Hyderabad gang rape case to the Central Bureau of Investigation and the arrest of all the accused involved in it.
Police said that in the course of arresting accused Saaduddin Malik, two children who violated the law were apprehended by Jubilee Hills Police today. They are being produced before the Juvenile Court for their custody.
Meanwhile, Jana Sena Party leaders and workers staged a sit-in at Jubilee Hills Police Station demanding justice for the Hyderabad rape case victim. He was later taken into custody. A 17-year-old girl, who was returning home after a party, was allegedly gang-raped in Hyderabad’s Jubilee Hills area on May 28. The matter came to light when the minor girl’s father lodged a police complaint regarding the incident.
