Korea, June 06. It is reported that the carcass of a tiger was found in village Salganwa Khurd of Koriya district of Chhattisgarh, this village comes under the purview of Gurughasidas Tiger Reserve. However, according to the initial information received in this case, the tiger present in the Gurughasidas Tiger Reserve area has been poisoned and killed. In this case, two villagers are being interrogated by taking them into custody.

Forest department officials have confirmed the tiger’s death. Local sources said that the tiger had taken the buffalo as its prey, due to which the angry villagers sprinkled poison on the carcass of the buffalo, when the tiger reached to eat its prey in a while, then it died due to the poison in the carcass of the buffalo. Has gone. However, after the matter came to light, there was a stir in the forest department. Significantly, according to the recently released data, a total of 22 tigers were found in Chhattisgarh.
Worrying condition in case of tiger count
Chhattisgarh ranks fourth in the country in terms of forests, but the condition remains worrying in terms of tiger count. For the conservation of biodiversity in many parts of Chhattisgarh, agitations are going on for water, forest, land, but the situation is hopeless.
The number of tigers is increasing in many states of India, while on the other hand it is decreasing in Chhattisgarh. Despite all the efforts, tigers are not getting a favorable environment to live in the national parks, tiger reserves and sanctuaries of the state. The same is the case with other animals as well. The state animal forest buffalo is also not visible in the forests, while the state bird Pahari Myna is also not visible. Here, due to deforestation in the forests, the fear of wild elephants in human settlements is also increasing.
