UGC NET 2022 Result likely to be released today. It is important to know the Expected Cut-Off Marks before NET Result. National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the result of UGC NET 2022 exam today i.e. on 5th November. Regarding the result of UGC NET 2022, UGC Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar had told on Friday that the students who appeared in the NET 2022 examination can check the results by visiting the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in. To check the result, candidates will need to enter their exam roll number and date of birth.

What is mandatory to pass NET exam?

To qualify NET, students need to clear both Paper 1 and Paper 2. General category students need 40 out of 100 to pass in Paper 1, while students taking the benefit of reservation have to score 35 out of 100 to pass in Paper 1.

In Paper 2, the general category students have to score 70-75 marks out of 200. It is mandatory for the students belonging to OBC and Economically Weaker (EWS) category to score 65 to 70 marks. The Scheduled Caste (SC) category students have to get 60 to 65 marks and the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category students 55 to 60 marks.
