Uttarakhand Bus Accident: PM Modi and Amit Shah expressed grief, announced Rs 2 lakh each to the families of the dead

New Delhi, June 05. 22 passengers died in a bus accident in Uttarakhand’s Uttarkashi district. While 6 people have been seriously injured. Many leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami have expressed their deep condolences on the painful accident. PM Modi announced an assistance of Rs 2 lakh each for the families of those killed in the bus accident and Rs 50,000 for the injured.
After the bus accident in Uttarkashi district, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami reached the disaster control room of Dehradun. The CM directed for speedy treatment of the injured and expediting the relief and rescue work.
After the incident, PM Modi expressed grief over the death of the people in the accident and announced an assistance of Rs 2 lakh each for the families of the dead in the accident and Rs 50,000 for the injured.
At the same time, Union Home Minister Amit Shah spoke to Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar S Dhami regarding the bus carrying 28 pilgrims who fell into the gorge in Uttarkashi. He said teams of local administration and SDRF are engaged in rescue work. The injured are being taken to the hospital for treatment. NDRF will reach soon.

On the other hand, the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh has said that the death of pilgrims of Panna district after the bus fell into a gorge in Uttarakhand is unfortunate. Our team is in constant touch with the Government of Uttarakhand. Arrangements are being made to treat the injured and bring back the dead bodies.
