‘They are killing us and the world is at peace…’
Deepika Kaul shared this video on her Instagram on Friday 03 June. Sharing the video, Deepika Kaul wrote the caption, “They are killing us and the world is calm. Please help us save our people in Kashmir.” Dipika Kaul says there have been three murders in the valley in two weeks. Deepika has also accused the government of not taking any action regarding the killings of Kashmiri Pandits.
‘PM Sir, I am Deepika Kaul, Kashmiri Pandit…’
26-year-old Deepika Kaul in the beginning of her video said, “Respected Mr. Prime Minister, Sir I am a Kashmiri Pandit and my name is Deepika Kaul. Today again I have come to know of a news, in which it has been told that another Hindu has been killed in Kashmir. This keeps happening…It has become very common…But it has been two weeks…Many Hindus and Kashmiris are being killed in these weeks.
‘I am very mentally unstable because of what has happened in Kashmir…’
Deepika Kaul further said, “I am making this video for those people who are outside Kashmir, who are sitting in high positions of the Government of India … I want to tell those people who have been in Kashmir for the last few years. It is happening since days… because of that I am very mentally unstable… and I am telling you this because it is said that during the genocide we had in the 1990s, if we had social Had the media been there, perhaps we would have been able to inform the Indian government, they would have known our voice… Maybe the things that have happened to us and our homes would not have happened… Maybe we could have been saved and still have our lives. Would have been living in homes… but that time has passed… so today I am telling the condition of the Indian government here through social media. ,
‘Sir today is everything…then why is it taking so long to do something’
Dipika Kaul further said, “Sir, today we have everything … we have very modern things … because of which we can solve any problem easily …. Today we have social media, TV channel, we have all the things we need… so sir I am not able to understand that inspite of all this… why is it taking so long to do everything right. Why are you taking so long?”
‘Tomorrow someone may belong to my family…;
Dipika Kaul further said, “Today is the third killing in two weeks sir, tomorrow someone could be my family, someone could be my own, which I might lose forever…sir it’s very There is serious and urgent matter….. I really don’t have the understanding, or I don’t understand why you guys are taking so long. Sir, I am requesting you…please take this matter seriously. This is very urgent…”
‘The culture of Kashmiri Pandits is ending…’
Deepika Kaul said, “Our culture, our people are dying out of Kashmir, Sir, now our culture is not there sir, the Kashmiri Pandits who live in India have no culture, Sir, every week in India there is so much killing. It is happening but the Government of India is not doing anything. We are losing our hopes sir. Kashmiri youth are losing their hope…the hope of the people of Jammu and Kashmir is running out sir…. We are waiting for you, we are waiting for some action. We are waiting for your response from the government.
