New Delhi, 06 June.
The war of words between the BJP and the Congress has intensified in Karnataka. A complaint was allegedly made by the BJP to the police that NSUI workers were trying to burn down the minister’s house. After which the Congress decided to intensify the ‘Chaddi Jalao’ campaign to continue its protest.

In Karnataka, the dispute between the BJP and the Congress is going on at this time over the tights i.e. underwear. While Congress is burning khaki to protest against saffronisation, BJP workers have started collecting tights, underpants and shorts from their homes and sending them to the Congress headquarters in Bengaluru. The chaddis in particular were sent to the Leader of the Opposition Siddaramaiah.
this is the case
The controversy started when members of the NSUI, the student wing of the Congress, burnt underwear outside Education Minister BC Nagesh’s house last week. It was described as a protest against saffronisation of school textbooks. NSUI workers were seen setting fire to khaki clothes belonging to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). After this protest, Congress leader Siddaramaiah said that during a protest symbolically an underwear was burnt. But the government made it a big issue. He said that when we try to burn the house, a campaign should be started to burn a trunk.

On Monday, Chitradurga and Chikmagalur Congress workers staged protests at several places. They burnt underwear at many places. At the same time, BJP is answering this by sending underwear to Congress leaders. BJP leader Prahlad Joshi launched a scathing attack on Congress leader Siddaramaiah. He said that the trunks of Siddaramaiah and Congress are already loose. His tights have been torn. That’s why they are burning sticks.
