What was the question?
In GS Paper-1 of UPSC CSE, a question came up, which asked- “Consider the following statements with reference to the bunch that is sometimes mentioned in the news”.
1– It’s a fungus.
2It grows in some Himalayan forest areas.
3It is cultivated commercially in the Himalayan foothills of north-eastern India.
Answer options-
(a) only 1
(b) only 3
(c) 1 and 2
(d) 2 and 3
What was Rubina’s post?
After the examination was over, when the students started searching for the answer, they came across a post by Rubina Dilouk which is dated 28 June 2020. She had posted a video at that time, in which she is seen eating Gucci. Along with that he wrote that the rarest and most delicious Gucci mushroom is the most expensive mushroom and is found only in the Himalayas.

People are sharing Rubina’s post with UPSC question paper. Posting a collage of both the photos, a person wrote that watch the reels and become an IAS. On the other hand, another person wrote that UPSC is also giving a hint that you guys now start watching Instagram reels. Another user wrote that the family members used to say that they will not be able to pass the exam after watching the reels all day, now the time has come to answer them.
What is the correct answer?
Three statements are given in the question paper, in which you have to tell which statement is correct. The first thing in this is that the bunch is a mushroom and the mushroom is considered a fungus. So the first statement would be correct. On the other hand, there is another statement that it grows in some Himalayan forest areas, so this is also true. So the second statement would also be true. At the same time, the third statement that it is cultivated commercially, which is wrong. It grows on its own in the Himalayas. So (C) 1 and 2 will be the correct answer.
