When Akhilesh Yadav asked who I am, the child said ‘You are Rahul Gandhi’ – know what is the matter

Lucknow, May 30: On Monday, in the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly, there was a loud laugh on one thing of the Leader of the Opposition, Akhilesh Yadav. Counting the shortcomings of the state’s education system, he narrated such an anecdote from his tenure, on which even Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath could not stop laughing. Akhilesh was constantly attacking the BJP government, but suddenly when he mentioned a question asked about himself to a school child, the house erupted with laughter. Actually, the matter was related to thinking of Akhilesh as Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.

Attacking the condition of the education system in Uttar Pradesh, Akhilesh Yadav was insulting the Yogi government. He said that the state is among the bottom four states in terms of education. The government should be disappointed, we are too. The population of our UP is 25 crores. The UP which has given so many prime ministers to the country… UP has given prime ministers continuously in their government too. They are in the government at the center and in the state, yet they have this level of education?’

“That little child has said that yes I have recognized…”
After this, Akhilesh mentioned that sentence, due to which the whole house resonated with laughter. The Samajwadi Party president said, “I always go to the primary school. I didn’t go once. I went there even when I was the chief minister. And I know my shortcomings too. When I went to a school… I went to a school. Going to the child and asking if you recognize me…… So that small child has said that yes I have recognized it…..”

“I asked who am I? Then said you are Rahul Gandhi……”
Akhilesh further said, “I asked who am I? Then said that you are Rahul Gandhi…” On this matter there was a loud laugh in the house. Even Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself could not stop laughing. However, on this Akhilesh alleged that “he is not sad that UP is number four from the bottom. He is happy that I have taken the name of the leader of the Congress party. ..who made your government…think you….” This video was shared by a journalist Ashish Sumit Mishra on his Twitter.

In fact, the party of SP MLA Akhilesh Yadav from Karhal assembly seat had contested the 2017 elections in alliance with the Congress and then the slogan of ‘UP ke two boys’ was very popular. But, the alliance was defeated in the elections and out of 403 seats, the SP and the Congress together could win only 54 seats. Samajwadi Party got 47 seats and Congress got 7 seats.
