KK means the youth of Delhi, fame of Mumbai and peace in Kolkata! Krishnakumar Kunnath i.e. KK used to say that if you know the religion of cooking, then you can become a true worshiper of music. KK inherited singing
At the age of two, KK sang for the first time on stage. Everyone in his house was a priest of music. Mother was a singer and father was fond of music. His maternal grandmother was also an expert in music. KK had the ability to hear any raga and sing it instantly.

Singer KK’s full name was Krishnakumar Kunnath. He was born on 23 August 1968 to Hindu Malayali parents. Father C.S. Menon and Mana Kunath Kanakavalli. KK has studied at Mount St. Mary’s School in Delhi. Later, he did his graduation from Kirori Mal College, Delhi University. In the year 1991, KK got married to his childhood love Jyoti. Their Nakula Krishna Kunnath has a son and a daughter.
