The farmer has named this buffalo as Reshma. It gives so much milk as no other buffalo in India gives. There is a record of giving 33.8 liters of milk in the name of this buffalo.

It is the largest milk producing buffalo in India
There is also a special thing about this buffalo that, 2 people have to sit for milking it. Its fat quality is 9.31 out of 10. This is the third time. And, the team of several doctors milked this buffalo 7 times, after confirmation by them, this buffalo was given the status of ‘Advanced Breed’ by the National Dairy Development Board (NDBB) with a certificate of record of 33.8 liters .

Buffaloes of this breed are found more in Haryana
This buffalo is of Murrah breed, and buffaloes of this breed are found more in Haryana. Therefore, small Haryana is considered to be the leader in the country in per capita milk production. By the way, according to a report, now milk production has started decreasing in milk-curd Haryana. In this, there has been a decrease of 451 tonnes in one year itself. The per capita availability of milk has also come down from 1142 grams to 1060 grams per day. The reason for this is that the number of buffaloes here has reduced by 17 lakhs.
Haryana’s famous Murrah buffalo will be given to the farmers of Madhya Pradesh at half price, gives 15 liters of milk in one go every day

Here the number of cows also increased by 1.20 lakh
According to Dr. SK Bagoria, MD, Haryana Live Stock Development Board, buffalo is the main source of milk in Haryana. Apart from this, the number of cows is also increasing here. An increase of 1.20 lakh has been registered in cows in a year. Health experts agree that the incidence of milk among the growing population is not a good sign. However, despite the decrease in the number of animals, the livestock owners here have now started rearing good quality animals, so that more milk can be produced.
