Karnataka JD(S) MLA’s statement after casting his vote in the Rajya Sabha elections in Karnataka is making headlines as Karnataka JD(S) MLA K Srinivasa Gowda came out in front and said yes I voted for Congress because I love it.

Amid a tough fight in the ongoing Rajya Sabha polls, Karnataka JD(S) MLA K Srinivasa Gowda said he voted for the Congress and because he loves it. “I have voted for the Congress because I love it,” he said.
JD(S) chief HD Kumaraswamy has accused Congress’s Siddaramaiah of motivating his party’s MLAs to cross vote for the old party’s candidate. Karnataka Legislature Party leader Siddaramaiah on Thursday called JD(S) Kumaraswamy expressed his displeasure with the Congress after writing an open letter to the Congress MLAs requesting them to cast their “conscience vote” in favor of his party’s second candidate Mansoor Ali Khan.
Hitting out at Siddaramaiah, Kumaraswamy said, “Today in front of the local media he (Siddaramaiah) said that he did not write to my MLAs. He even tweeted the letter from his social media account. Now, he is contradicting what he said yesterday. It shows their double standards.”
